Ok, I have the worst skin ever. It’s like a never ending cycle. I get pimples on my face so I wash it and put on some kind of acne treatment (I don’t have a specific kind I use b/c I switch it up so much in an attempt to find on that works).

Then my pimples go away but my skin gets all dry and flaky. So I put some lotion on it (or lately I have been trying coconut oil) to make the dryness go away.

And then the pimples come back! I either have a pimply face or a dried out face and neither on of those are appealing so if any one can suggest a product or regime that will help prevent both dryness and pimples that would be amazing!!!

It sounds like you have combination skin
What I do is use my acne treatment every other day so it doesn’t dry out my skin too much. First I wash my hands and rinse my face with warm water (this opens up your pores), then I apply the product with my fingers (don’t use a cloth for this, it can irritate your skin). Massage into your skin for about 30 seconds then rinse. Finally, I pat (don’t rub) my face dry with a towel and apply moisturizer.
I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin, and it has worked pretty well for me. If that product doesn’t moisturize your skin too well, Neutrogena makes a formula for combination skin as well. Look for products that say “non-comedogenic”, they won’t clog your pores.
Your doctor can also prescribe acne medication or treatements, if necessary.
